Jeff Veteto
Jeff started singing barbershop music almost 32 years ago. He has been a member of 13 competing quartets over the years, competing on the district stage nearly every year, He has sung on the International stage with four quartets a total of eight times, finishing as high as 13th with the Tulsa Tradition in 1998. Jeff served as a director or assistant director of the Sho-Me Statesmen from the fall of 1986 through the present, and his enthusiasm for good close harmony seems to never diminish. He also directs the Ozark Showcase Sweet Adelinechorus. Jeff is a civil engineer by trade and is employed by City Utilities of Springfield. He and his wife, Beth, have two sons and enjoy a full and active family life.

John Stockstill
John has been involved in barbershopping for almost 35 years and has had a vast amount of stage experience with different quartets through the years. In addition to his work with the Sho-Me Statesmen, John is an experienced Sweet Adelines director as well. He brings a wealth of barbershopping knowledge and is a certified trainer for the Societies' Chorus Directors Workshop Intensive (CDWI) program. He gives a major portion of his time preparing for the chapter meeting every Thursday evening, providing the chorus with leadership, music ability, and teaching skills that are appreciated by all. He is insistent upon a chorus sound that is well blended, and strives for improvement each week. John is a brick mason and has built many of the fine buildings that are located throughout southwest Missouri. He has a daughter who is also a very talented musician.
