The Sho-Me Statesmen
H.C.Hall

H.C. was a bass in the Whatever Four quartet, he is pictured below, second from the right.

He was taken from us due to his untimely death on July 28, 1997. But his spirit will live on in our music.

[The Whatever Four]

The Whatever Four were digitized during their visit to a local Computer store.

H.C. was 57 years old and died of complications of heart bypass surgery. His 26 years of barbershopping experience included 3 terms as Secretary of the Central States District. He held offices of Chapter President, Music Vice President, and Program Vice President as well as chairing several annual chapter shows. The Sho-Me Statesmen honored their departed member by singing at his funeral service.

In addition to barbershop, H.C. loved Ragtime Music.

One of H.C.'s favorite links was John Roache's Ragtime Music page. And one of his favorite tunes was "The Baltimore Todolo" By Eubie Blake (Scott Kirby arrangement).
