Q School

Q School is the newest quartet from the Sho-Me Statesmen, organizing in the fall of 2010.

Pictured at left are: Chris Upp, tenor; Jeremy Albright, lead; John Stockstill, bass; and Bill Sundwall, baritone.

This picture was taken at the Sho-Me Statesmen Show, "Snapshots in Time," on October 16, 2010, where Q School made its debut.

Second Bass

Second Bass formed on a lark in the fall of 2009, specifically to compete in the Fall 2009 Central States District Contest. They were pleased to place Sixth in that contest.

Members are: Jeff Veteto, baritone; Bryan King, lead; Adam Veteto, bass; and Todd Keeley, tenor.

Jeff and Adam are father and son (Jeff is the Dad...). Jeff has sung in many quartets; Adam has sung in a total of four, including Internationally ranked High Definition.

Todd has sung in numerous quartets as well, most notably Split Decision, who won a District Championship in the Dixie District and competed Internationally.

This is Bryan's first competing quartet, and he is justifiably proud of the Top Ten finish at District!

The Noise Boys

The Noise Boys first got together in July of 2001, winning the Central States District Quartet Championship in convincing fashion.

The quartet has been busy ever since, with show bookings in Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Arkansas, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Michigan.

The Noise Boys have qualified four times to represent the Central States District in International Competition, placing 23rd at Montreal in 2003 and at Denver in 2007.

Tenor Bemo Myers lives in St. Joseph, Missouri, with his wife, Carol, and sons B.J. and Joe. He enjoys an interesting career working with the criminally insane. We met professionally.

Lead Curt Angel lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and he and his wife Tammy claim five sons and one daughter. He has made a lot of Noise over the years, finishing as high as sixth place Internationally with his previous quartet, The Tulsa Tradition.

Baritone Don Conner is a professional chef who lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also sang with the Tulsa Tradition.

Bass Jeff Veteto lives in Springfield, Missouri, with his wife, Beth, and sons Adam and Austin. Jeff has trouble saying no, so he has competed with thirteen different quartets over the years.
